Snowmass Clinic Has Room With A View

When it came time to give the Snowmass Clinic a makeover, Clinic Director Monica Castaneda remembered seeing the Sereneview curtains at another Sereneview facility, West Park Hospital in Cody, WY. She thought the curtains might be a perfect addition to the Clinic which serves the area’s residents and visitors, offering a variety of services for those acutely ill or injured. Snowmass Clinic is often the first point of care for more serious injuries that are then transferred to Aspen Valley Hospital in Aspen, 10 miles away.
“Everyone really loves the new curtains,” said Monica. “In fact, some people don’t want to leave right away!” Most of the injuries the Clinic sees are skiing-related, and it can get pretty hectic sometimes. The Sereneview curtains are a quiet distraction for the patients and give the staff a window to the world outside.
“Now we need to get Sereneview curtains for our ED, so we can continue the patient experience throughout their stay with Aspen Valley Hospital” Monica added.
