There’s A Moose on My Curtain!

“We started using the Sereneview curtains in our Oncology department. Word spread quickly about the new curtains and the effect they have. Day Surgery, Med Surg, OB, ICU, and Wound Care all have the Sereneview curtains now. Emergency has budgeted for Sereneview curtains and Massage Therapy has requested adding the curtains.
One day I was visiting a patient on our Med Surg Floor for Healing Touch and he told me that he loved the Sereneview curtain in his room and he was just certain that there must be a moose out there somewhere in the picture.
I returned to my office and Googled a picture of a moose and snuck into his room while he was resting and taped the moose to the curtain so I could tell him he was right after all!
We had a good laugh and he appreciated the thoughtfulness. As you can see by the photos, both staff and patients smile while they are surrounded by the beauty of the curtains.”
